This spring, supporters of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ gathered for a meaningful evening celebrating the Spring Equinox Mediterranean-Themed Dinner, a special fundraising event benefiting ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Social and Community Services. Hosted and prepared by ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ CEO Andrea Duffield, the evening brought together community members for an intimate dining experience centered on connection, generosity, and impact. 

As the Spring Equinox marks a season of renewal and growth, the theme provided a fitting backdrop for an event focused on hope and opportunity. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated Mediterranean-inspired, multi-course dinner featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients, vibrant citrus flavors, and classic Mediterranean touches. The menu highlighted light spring dishes, fresh seafood, and a simple, elegant dessert — all designed to encourage conversation and a shared sense of community.

One of the most memorable aspects of the evening was the personal touch from CEO Andrea Duffield, who both hosted and prepared the meal. Her thoughtful hospitality created a warm and welcoming environment where guests could connect not only with one another, but also with ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’ mission. 

Throughout the evening, Andrea shared insights into the work of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Social and Community Services and the growing need for community-based support. Guests learned how ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ helps individuals facing mental health challenges, housing instability, and barriers to employment by providing practical resources, supportive relationships, and pathways toward independence. 

The intimate setting allowed attendees to engage in meaningful conversations about the importance of community support and the impact of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’ programs.  

Supporting ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Social and Community Services 

All proceeds from the Spring Equinox Mediterranean Dinner helped to support ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Social and Community Services, helping expand programs that provide housing support, case management, and community-based services. These programs are designed to help individuals move from crisis toward stability and long-term independence. 

Community events like this play an important role in sustaining ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ’ work. They not only raise essential funding but also build awareness and strengthen relationships with supporters who share a commitment to improving lives in our community.
